Carroll, Jr., 10 Jan 1901 - 10 Oct 1901 William J. Moore, 11 Oct 1901 - 14 Mar 1904 [Office ordered discontinued 1 Mar 1904, effective 15 Mar 1904, with mail forwarded to Bernice.] ================================================================================== COMMENTS: Middlefork was one of those offices that opened along the railroad line from Junction City through Bernice and south into Lincoln Parish in 1898. It was located just inside Union Parish, near the Lincoln Parish line, approximately in Section 35, Township 21 North, Range 3 West. ###########################################################
