HISTORY OF SPEARSVILLE POST OFFICE, 1848 - 1908:
    opened with the name 'Spears Store' by postmaster Alexander Spears
    name changed to 'Spearsville' on 13 March 1860
    discontinued 28 June 1866
    re-established 13 June 1872
    office ordered discontinued on 7 Apr 1908, effective 31 May 1908, mail forwarded to Lillie
