   established as the Archer Post Office on 3 March 1905
   name changed to "Spencer Post Office" on 5 July 1911

COMMENTS:

Spencer is located in southeastern Union Parish, on Highway #143 south of Haile and 
north of Loch Lomond and Sterlington, in Section 2, Township 20 North, Range 3 East.
