Hudson, 16 Apr 1906 - 28 Feb 1908 [Office closed effective 29 Feb 1908, with mail forwarded to Bernice.] ================================================================================== COMMENTS: Thaxton Post Office was another railroad post office that opened in western Union Parish along the rail line that ran between Junction City and Bernice. It was located north of Pisgah and south of the Ryan post offices, in approximately Section 24, Township 22 North, Range 3 West. ###########################################################
