KEY, C. (Cornelius) N., Pvt. CO. C 19th LA. Inf. Enr.  27/4/1862 or
8/5/1862, Cointh, Miss.  Present on all rolls to Feb. 1863.  Roll for 30/6
to 31/10/1863.  Absent, sick in Hospital in Greenville, Ala.  When last
heard from.  Rolls from Nov. 1863 - 30/4/1864, Present Roll 1/5/-31/8/1864.
 Absent, wounded, in Hosp. 1/9/1864 - 28/ 2/1865.  Present Federal Rolls of
P.O.W.  Show him captured at Spanish Fort, Ala. 8/4/1865.  Recd. at Ship
Island, Miss. 1/5/1865,  Paroled at Camp Townsend 1865.

AWOL  Union Parish. LA Roll for Jan. & Feb. Present. Rejoined CO. from AWOL
15/1 Within period allowed of Pardon allowed by Gen. J. E. Johnson.
Federal Rolls of P.O.W.  show him captured and paroled at Vicksburg, Miss.
4/7/1863.on list dated Hdqtrs.  Allens Brigade Shreveport, LA. 29,3/1864.
Reported in Camp for exchange, Vienna, LA. before 1/4/1864 on rolls of
P.O.W.  Paroled  at Monroe, La. 12/6/1865.   Residence, Union Parish, La. 

Cornelius Key was resident near Farmerville, La., Union Parish.. 
Dennis Lee Key resident Pisgah near Bernice.
