                             Louisiana Intelligence.

     Crops. -- Our Louisiana exchanges from various sections of the State, bring news 
of the crops that will be of interest to many readers. 

     The Farmerville (Union parish) Democrat notes the arrival at the Alabama Landing, 
on the Ouachita river, of the first bale of cotton on the 24th ult., which is early 
for the new crop in that vicinity. The crop promises to be very fair.

     Farmerville is reported very healthy this season; no sickness being known.
