Reese Near Ouachita City, Union Parish Louisiana From the New Orleans "Daily True Delta", issue of 27 September 1861 ================================================================================== ================================================================================== Tragedy in Union Parish — The Winnsboro (Franklin parish) Herald of the 21st says: We learn that on Monday evening of this week, Mr. Henry J. Reese, well known in this community, and brother of Wm. K. Reese, the artist, was waylaid and shot, about half a mile from Ouachita city, Mr. Wm.
