The Bertha Brunner left for the D'Arbonne Monday evening, with a good trip.

                             Personal.
    Capt. E. T. Sellers, of Union, was in town Tuesday, and paid us a friendly call, 
and also  - a very small matter - his annual subscription. We learn that Capt. Sellers 
has been solicited by a number of his friends to become a candidate for delegate from 
his parish. He has legislative experience, good practical sense, and is thoroughly 
identified with the producing and taxpaying classes of our people.
