Miss Mattie Dozier of Union parish, visiting her uncles Messrs. Fred and Abe Cann, 
sixteen miles below town, drowned herself last Friday morning, while in a temporary 
fit of insanity.  The body was recovered during the day. She was about twenty years 
of age.
