                                    FARMERVILLE.

                         Union Parish Stands by King for congress.

FARMERVILLE, La., Oct 5 — The resolution adopted by the meeting here today calling 
for a new Convention does not express the voice of the people of Union parish, which 
is by a large majority for King, and sustains the Monroe Convention, and will cast 
her vote for King in November.
