Escaped Convict Caught

   SHREVEPORT, March 16  –  John Peterson, white, an escaped convict from Louisiana 
penitentiary, was brought here last night and jailed by Deputy Sheriff Morris, of Lamar, 
today.  Peterson was sentenced from Union Parish for horse stealing, and has some time 
to serve yet.
