[From the] Farmerville Gazette:  

It was rumored Monday, on our street, that Mr. Calvin Skinner, who was tried 
in our courts a few years ago, charged with the murder of Mr. Mabry, was 
killed Friday night at his residence.  The weapon used was a shotgun loaded 
with buckshot.  We can learn no particulars of the killing.
