Brief Sketches of the Graduates BIOGRAPHIES OF THE GRADUATES. Robert Roberts was born at Shiloh, Union parish, La. March 2, 1873. His parents are Dr. Robert Roberts and Mary Adeline McCormick. He received his early education in the High School at Shiloh, which school he attended until sixteen years of age. In 1889 his parents removed to Ruston, where he entered Ruston College, and took a degree in 1893. After teaching for two years in the public schools of Lincoln and Ouachita parishes, Mr. Roberts came to the university in the fall of ’05, entering the junior class. He was promoted to quartermaster sergeant during the latter part of his junior year, retaining the same mark throughout his senior year. He has pursued the classical course, and takes the degree of B. A.
