A disease prevails among hogs in the tenth ward, having many symptoms of cholera. 
Farmers in that section whose meat hogs are not affected ought to kill them as 
soon as possible to prevent the danger of their taking the disease.

Born to Mr. and Mrs. Ed Archer, of Farmerville, last week a fine girl. Also to 
Mr. and Mrs. B. F. Post, of Spearsville, a bouncing boy. Both mothers and children 
are doing well.

Mr. L. M. Dendy, merchant and farmer of Pisgah, was a caller at our office Tuesday.

A representative delegation of citizens from the 9th and 10th justice wards were in 
town Tuesday, to "interview" the police jury on the stock law question.
