Loper's Barn and Corncrib Burns From the Farmerville "Gazette"; issue of Wednesday, 2 November 1898, page 3, column 2 ================================================================================== ================================================================================== Sunday night at about 9 o'clock Mr. J. W. Loper had the misfortune to lose his barn and crib by fire. The crib was filled with oats, corn and fodder, and the loss is about $700; no insurance. The origin of the fire is unknown. Mr. Loper desires to take this method of extending thanks to his friends and neighbors who assited him during the conflagration, and thus prevented his loss from being larger than it was. ###############################################################################
