E. Davis, of Cherry Ridge vicinity, was the victim of a very serious accident Monday morning. While packing a bale of cotton the boy became entangled in the press rope, resulting in both his legs being broken, also one arm and his shoulder. The unfortunate boy was severely mangled, and the chances are against his recovery. At last accounts, however, he was resting fairly well. ###############################################################################
