1900 Fire Destroys Moore House in Point, Union Parish Louisiana

   Mr. W. N. Feazel informs us that the residence of F. N. B. Moore, in the Point 
neighborhood, was destroyed by fire on the night of the 12th inst. Mr. Moore lost 
his smoke house also, together with all the contents of both buildings. It is 
thought the fire caught from the kitchen. The house was enveloped in flames when 
the family were awakened, and they barely had time to escape with their lives.
