  Mr. Geo. W. Feazel, of the tenth ward, was a caller at our office Tuesday. He 
says politics in his neighborhood are dull, the people taking but little interest 
in them. Mr. Feazel lives in the Populist stronghold of the parish, and yet he says 
of a Pop. meeting recently held in his neighborhood there was only a small turn-out. 
The fusion combine is fast drowning out the little enthusiasm that yet lingers in 
Populist breasts.
