I take this method of thanking my many friends in the vicinities of Farmerville, 
Holmesville and Downsville for having presented me with a comfortable and 
convenient invalid's chair.

NOTE: 
Lanie Elizabeth Seale (1 Sept 1849 - 1 Sept 1921) was the daughter of Thomas Jefferson 
Seale (9 Feb 1816 - 4 July 1893) and Aletha Connell, who married on 16 December 
1845 in Autauga County Alabama. Lanie married Elder Henry Archer 
(3 Dec 1833 - 6 Dec 1907) in 1866. Archer had served in the Confederate Army 
during the war, and afterwards, he was ordained as a Primitive Baptist Minister. 
He served as the pastor of Liberty Hill Primitive Baptist Church, among others, 
for the latter portion of the 1800s. He was elected as Farmerville's mayor in 
the 1890s and served serveral terms.
