Wealthy Planter and His Son Give Bond at Monroe, La. Shreveport, La., Aug 26. – United States Marshal Lea returned today from Bernice, La., where yesterday he arrested J. L. Dindy and his son. M. H. Dindy, on capiases from indictments alleging violations of the Federal laws governing peonage. The senior Dindy is a wealthy planter and his son is an attorney.
