L. Griffin of Ouachita Burned Out. On last Monday night at 12 o'clock the store of Mr. W. L. Griffin of Ouachita, was completely destroyed by fire, and had it not been for the heroic efforts of Miss Wilbur Peek, who at the well continually supplied the seven volunteer firemen with water, not only would her father's, Mr. J. A. Peek's store, been consumed by the flames, but all the business houses. After the fire was extinguished or under control, Miss Peek, with blistered hands, was the heroine of the occasion her assistance being appreciated by the community.
