While on the Little Cornie dynamiting fish one day last week a man by the name of 
Harris lost his arm and both eyes through a premature explosion. A similar case to 
this happened last year on the Little D'Arbonne. Such cases as these should teach 
people that it is dangerous to fish with this explosive - dangerous in two ways; 
first there is danger of one getting blown to kingdom come, and, should he escape 
that, there is still the danger of a trial and conviction in court, which, in 
Union Parish, means a fine and term on the public roads. Better let it alone.
