Ark., in charge for four days of last week; and, during those four days at least, these time worn veterans—these surviving heroes of the grandest lot of fighting men the world has ever known --- were young again, forgetting the half century of time that as passed since they mustered forth in the vigor and strength of their young manhood to fight for the Southland; forgetting the humiliation of Appomattox and remembering only the glorious victories they had won; forgetting all the sorrows and remembering the joys, they all fifteen thousand of them, seemed to be having the time of their lives. According to the daily papers of Little Rock there were over 106,000 visitors in the city and the ask of entertaining all of these guests was not a small one by any means for a city the size of Little Rock; but she did it and did it in royal style. Everything for the convenience of the old soldiers was furnished by the city free of charge and nothing was left undone that would add to their comfort and pleasure; and they all came away singing the praise of the Arkansas city. Taken all in all, it was probably the most successful re-union ever held. Union Parish was well represented, there being about forty whose names we got and there were probably others whom we did not meet. Those who we succeeded in getting the names of were: T.J. McMurrain, W. M. Cole, J.P. Adams, D.W. Hollis, D. Gill Russell, J.W. Hughes, W.M. Platt, P.H. NcVicker, W.M. Crow, G. W. Carter, Jno. Carter, G.W. Neal, E.A. Coleman, J.P. Heard, R.J.Tabor, W.W.
