                     Programme of Union Parish Singing Convention 
                          to Be held at Zion Hill Church
                            on Saturday March 30th 1912.

                                      -------

  1. House called to order by Pres. J. C. Rocket at 10 a.m. with scripture reading and 
     prayer.

  2. Twenty minutes religious exercises direct by Pres. J. C. Rockett.

  3. Two songs directed by Hue Rockett.     [should be Hugh T. Rockett]

  4. What relation does music bear to Sunday School work, as assigned by L. M. Furgeson, 
     B. F. Grafton and Rev. Hornsby.

  5. Ten minutes song service, directed by W. W. Rockett

  6. Is the theory of music of today advancing faster than spirituality, if so causes, 
     etc.? L. M. Dendy, W. L. Jinks and Rev. Cleet Smith.

  7. Fifteen minutes song service, directed by Hue Rockett.

  8. To what extent are parents responsible for the musical training of today? and how 
     best to secure better results, assigned by J. E. Furguson, Pres. J. C. Rockett, Rev. 
     L. B. Burnside and Rev. Van Burns.

  9. Ten minutes song service.

 10. Essay on music by Miss McCoy of Bernice High School.
