Monroe, La., Dec 24—Spencer, a village on the Monroe and Little Rock railway, 16 miles 
from Monroe, in Union Parish was wiped out by a storm today, seven persons were killed 
and 25 injured according to reports received here.  A special train carrying doctors 
and nurse left Monroe for the scene this afternoon.
