A fractured arm, gashes in the head and neck and cuts and bruises were sustained by June Hudson, 19, son of former state Representative C. H. Hudson of Union parish. He is being treated at the home of his father, near Farmerville. It is believed he will recover. At a sanitarium in Ruston Miss Bobby Thomas, is being treated for internal injuries. Her condition is precarious. In the same accident, two other persons were also hurt, but not seriously, John Hudson, 17, brother of June, sustained an injured shoulder and Mrs. H. A. Thomas, mother of the girl, received cuts and bruises. Mrs. Thomas was driving the car when the mishap occurred. She was en route to Ruston and the two Hudson boys were riding on the running board. In attempting to pass a truck the car plunged down a five–foot embankment and turned turtle several times. The four occupants of the car was treated at a physician’s office in Farmerville, after which Miss Thomas and her mother were removed to the sanitarium in Ruston and the two Hudson boys were taken to their father’s home. ###############################################################################
