A sumptuous feast was served at the noon hour. J.R. Dawkins, Farmerville attorney was present as a guest and delivered a talk to the crowd. Members of the Wilhite family present were: Mr. and Mrs.John W. Brantley, Yvonne Brantley and Brantley Futch of Farmerville; Mr. and Mrs. Henry Leonard and family, Mrs. J.S. Aswell and family of West Monroe; Mr. and Mrs. W.C. Wilhite, Mr. and Mrs. W.H. Richardson of Calhoun; Mrs. H.H. Haggard and daughter, Frances & Carolyn of Greenwood; Miss Rose Wilhite of Shreveport; Mr. Benton Wilhite of Lake Providence; Mrs. Cora Welch, daughters and sister of Leesville; Mr. and Mrs. Jule Wihite, Mr. and Mrs. George Wilhite of Chatham; Mr. and Mrs. M. Wihite and family, Mr. and Mrs. Archie Wilhite, Mr. and Mrs. B.F. Wihite, Mr. and Mrs Boyd Wihite and family, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Wihite, Mr. and Mrs Ben Wilhite and family, Mrs. Hattie Wihite, Mr. Wesley Wilhite, all of Wilhite. The following visitors who have been lifelong friends of the family were also present: Mrs. Mollie Gray, Mr. Wilson Hart, Mrs. Lorrena Tubberville, Mr. L.M. Eard and Mrs. Ida Aulds of Calhoun; Rev. Jake Tidwell of south Louisiana; Mrs. W.H. Ward and Mrs. Avant and children of Monroe; Mr. J.R. Dawkins, Mr. and Mrs. Forest Maxey of Farmerville; Mrs. Phoebe King, Mr. and Mrs D.W. Feazel, Mr. and Mrs. G.V. Aulds and Mr. and Mrs. Dalton Hammonds, of Wilhite. Also quite a number of the younger set, too numerous to mention here. ##########################################################
