She was born in Drew Co, Ark. April 14, 1887, and was married to Mr. Howard Nolan, Aug. 1, 1905. Four children are the result of this union-3 girls and 1 boy. Mrs. Nolan was of a cheerful spirit, and endured her last days patiently, though they were most painful. As a mother, she knew what it was to give up her little ones, but committed them to the care of her husband, with the request that he raise them up in such a way, as to meet her in Heaven. Death held its fears for her, as she had an unwavering trust in Christ, and said the angels waited round her bed to lead her safely through the Valley of the Shadow. Her own dear Mother died no quite 2 months ago, and her family has indeed a burden of sorrow. But God knows best, and these things come to us all sooner or later. It seems that the best and purest are taken first, and we may look through this veil of tears, and see a glory more beautifl than could be described, for when our loved ones have gone on before, it makes Heaven more beautiful. She is sadly missed by family and friends. Silent is the voice, that was as the music of Heaven, in her house. Mother is gone, but Heaven is her home, for "blessed are the dead, which die in the Lord." Words fall short when we try to express sympathy to the bereaved family, but may all those who loved her best, rise in such a way, as to meet her again some day. May God's richest blessings be upon them, and may His tenderest love ever be given to the 4 motherless children. Then when she stands at Heaven's gate, to welcome her loved ones, they can all be reunited, and can sing with joy, the praises of him "Who doeth all things well." "In the deepest night of our trouble and sorrow, God gives us so much to be thankful for, that we should never close singing"-Comfort yourselves, sor, rowing ones, future is radient with promise. At the end of Life's journey, there is Heaven and the Lord and loved ones, waiting for you, and so-- "The hope that we shall see that day, should chose our present griefs away. A friend.
