DIED.

   In Union Parish, La., on the 28th October, 1849, Marion M. Basemore, aged 32 years, 
a native of Jones County, Ga.

        “None knew him but to live, 
          Or named him but to praise”

NOTE by T. D. Hudson:
The 1850 Union Parish Louisiana Mortality Schedule indicates that M. M. "Bazemore", 
aged 33 years, died in October 1849 of consumption.
