Darby, one of the sufferers in the Farmerville storm, died from the effects of his injuries. [Note: On 21 April 1883, a tornado struck Farmerville, destroying Glasson's saloon, killing owner H. C. Glasson. William A. Darby was inside at the time, and he suffered a broken leg and other severe injuries, which resulted in his death between April 21 and 25. # # #
