The child died from the effects of the medicine, but the mother was saved by medical aid being secured in time. ================================================================================== NOTE: Gene Barron pointed out that Mrs. "Lum" Gray was actually Adell (born March 1869), the wife of Columbus Gray (16 Apr 1857 - 22 Nov 1903). After Lum's death, she remarried to Paul R. Roberts. The child was Thomas Gray (17 Mar 1893 - 29 Apr 1894). Both the young boy and Columbus Gray were buried in the Shiloh Cemetery. Notice that the child was only thirteen months old, not two years old as the paper stated. ################################################################################
