The Farmerville Gazette
Wednesday, 2 May 1894, page 3, column 3

"Mrs. Reagan, the wife of Mr. Wm. D. Reagan, who lives near Cherry Ridge 
in this parish, died last Friday and her remains were interred Saturday. 
She had been in ill health for some time with an attack of the la grippe. 
She was an aged Christian lady and leaves a host of friends, a husband 
and several children and grandchildren to mourn her loss."

[Note: This was Nancy Cessum Beaird, daughter of William Beaird and 
Zilphia Dunn; "last Friday" means she died on 27 April 1894.]
