Mrs. L. J. Buckley, one of the pioneer residents of Union parish, died near 
Oakland last Friday night.  A few months ago she sustained a serious fall 
from which she never recovered.  Mrs. Buckley came to Union Parish about 65 
years ago, where she has continously resided since.  She was grandmother of 
the Messrs. Everett of our town; and was 84 years of age.
