THE GAZETTE is pained to announce the untimely death of Miss Myra Gill, daughter 
fo Mr. and Mrs. R. M. Gill, which sad event occurred last Thursday at her 
parents' home near D'Arbonne. It is supposed that she contracted that deadly 
disease, consumption, while attending the sick bed of her brother, Mr. Lazarus 
Gill, who preceded her to the grave about two years. Miss Myra was an accomplished 
and intelligent young lady, just entering upon the stage of womanhood, and hence 
her early demise is particularly sad. To the bereaved relatives and friends, 
THE GAZETTE extends sympathy.
