1905 Obituary of Kennedy infant, residing near Farmerville, Union Parish Louisiana

Published in the Farmerville "Gazette", issue dated Wednesday, 21 June 1905, page 3

  The infant child of Mr. Kennedy, living in the vicinity of town died last Sunday 
night from the ravages of membranous croup, the little one suffering great pain until 
death intervened. Dr. Taylor attending but unable to counteract the disease, so fatal 
to child life.

NOTE:
Although we cannot be absolutely certain, thanks to Marc Hollingsworth we think we 
can identify this Kennedy infant:

Jewell Kennedy (28 June 1903 - 16 June 1905) is buried in the Taylor/Liberty Hill 
Cemetery east of Farmerville. She was the daughter of Robert Lee Kennedy (1880 - 1920) 
and Elizabeth Gertrude Albritton (1884 - 1951), both buried in the same cemetery.
