Mr. Taylor was a member of the Woodmen of the World and carried two thousand dollars insurance with that order. He was laid to rest with W.O.W. honors at the Taylor Cemetery Saturday morning. ================================================================================== Comments: Benjamin Allen Taylor (25 June 1861 – 1 Mar 1907) was the son of John D. Taylor (12 May 1834 – 1896) and Sarah Matilda Stancil (28 Jan 1837 – ?). He married on 29 June 1880 to Mary Ann Ward (16 Apr 1860 – 10 Feb 1942), the daughter of John Thomas Ward (30 June 1835 – 30 Dec 1883) and Sarah Ann Elizabeth Scarborough (3 Sept 1838 – 25 Mar 1914). ###########################################################
