1927 Obituary of William W. Aulds of Bernice, Union Parish Louisiana

After a lingering illness Mr. William W. Aulds, a resident of Bernice this parish, 
died at his home last Saturday April 30th. Survivors include two daughters, 
Mrs. J.R. Autrey and Mrs. Florence Aulds both of Bernice. Interment was in the 
Bernice cemetery Sunday May 1st. Mr. Aulds lived many years in Farmerville where 
he has many old friends who will regret his passing.

NOTE: William Wesley Aulds (29 Jan 1856 - 30 Apr 1927) was the son of Sherwood A. Auld 
and Jane Adaline Rossiter. He operated a livery stable in Farmerville in the mid 1890s 
and worked as a merchant in various locations in Union Parish. Sometime in the latter 
1890s, he moved from Farmerville to Bernice.
