It was taken from the July 27, 1927 Farmerville Gazette. Elizabeth was the daughter of James and Mary Breedlove Taylor. MRS. E. B. SAWYER DEAD One of the oldest ladies of the parish, Mrs. E. B. Sawyer, passed away at eleven o'clock a.m., July 15, at the residence of her daughter Mrs. L. C. Ward, of this place. The deceased was the widow of the late Samuel Sawyer, an honored resident and Confederate Veteran of this parish. He preceded her in the grave by about seven years. Mrs. Sawyer was 84 years of age when she died and her husband was 87 when he died. Interment was in the Rocky Branch Cemetery, Saturday, July 16th.
