Corporal B. M. Cox acted as military escort from Nicaragua to this city. Relatives and friends met the body at the station here and it was conveyed to the home of the parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.B. Watson, in Wilhite, Union Parish. The funeral is to be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o’clock in Wilhite cemetery. Young Watson was killed from ambush while preceding the main body of troop in hunting for Sandino insurgents. Burial was made temporarily in a cemetery in Nicaragua. Corporal Cox stated that the body was taken on the U.S.S. Henderson from Nicaragua to Quantico, Va. From which place it was sent direct by rail to Monroe. Members of the immediate family include beside the parents, two brothers and one sister who are as follows: Vaughn and E.J. Watson and Miss Daisy Watson, all of Union Parish. ###############################################################################
