Day, 67 of near Marton, who died at a Bastrop hospital on Tuesday, November 12, 1940, at 2 p.m. following a long illness were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Concord Baptist Church near Marion. Rev. R. W. Rhodes of Farmerville, conducted the service. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. W. A. Day, seven children and seventeen grand children. Many other more distant relatives also survive. The deceased was a life long resident of Union parish. Interment was made in Concord Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home. ##########################################################
