(Oct 9, 1940) MRS. SARAH GRAY Mrs. Sarah Gray, who has been very feeble for many years, died early Wednesday morning of last week, and was buried at Pisgah Thursday morning. Her son Lonnie Gray, with whom she made her home, on arising that morning called her and when she did not answer approaching her bedside found her dead. She was a devout christian and bore her suffering with patience and christian fortitude, humble and submissive to the will of the Lord. She was past 70 years old and leaves her husband, George Gray, three sons, Lonnie and Frank of Bernice, Marvin of Denham Springs, La., and one daughter, Mrs. Ernest Wasson of Denham Springs; two brothers John Tucker of Bernice and Willis Tucker of West Monroe; two sisters, Mrs. Belle Brown and Mrs. Anna Fitzgerald. Rev. B. C. Smith conducted the services. Burial was in charge of Kilpatrick. # # #
