FUNERAL SERVICES FOR MRS. SALLY REEVES HELD JAN. 2. Marion, La, Jan 6. Funeral services were held at the Methodist church here Thursday for Mrs. Sally Reeves, 89, who died at her home near Marion, Wednesday, January 1st. Mrs. Reeves was, before her marriage, Miss Wallace. She was born in Marion, November 4, 1851, moving with her parents to Georgia during the Civil War, coming back here just after the war where she lived continuously until her death. She is survived by four sons and three daughters who are S.L.Reeves, Marion, Dr. C.L. Reeves, Strong, Arkansas, E.K.Reeves and M.O.Reeves, Monroe, Mrs. W.J.Remore, Mrs. Ed Buckley, and Mrs. J.C. Allen, all of Marion. She has one brother, Mr. Sam Wallace , of Farmerville, several grandchildren and more distant relatives in this community. Her husband, Mr E.D.Reeves, died in October 1938. The funeral was conducted by the Rev. W.O. Byrd, pastor of the Methodist church of which Mrs. Reeves had long been a devoted member. Internment was in Concord cemetery two miles west of Marion, under the direction of the Kilpatrick Funeral Home. # # #
