W. Everett of Spearsville Dies Suddenly Tuesday Mrs. W. W. Everett, 80, of the Spearsville community died suddenly at her home Tuesday. She was found dead in her bed by members of the family. Funeral rites will be held today (Thursday) at Mt. Union Baptist church, with the Rev. W. C. Smith of Farmerville officiating. Interment will be in the Mt. Union cemetery, under the direction of the Kilpatrick Funeral Home. The deceased was the widow of the late W. W. Everett. She had lived in Union parish for a long life-time. Surviving are the following sons and daughters: R. N. Everett of Caledonia, Ark., W. W. Everett, Jr. and H. C. Everett of Spearsville; Mrs. Lana Saint John of Pineville; Mrs. Frank Peppers of Caledonia, Ark.; Mrs. H. G. Holloway of Spearsville, and Mrs. T. Z. Upshaw of Alexandria; two brothers, Smith Youngblood and George Youngblood of Marthaville, La. A large number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive. ================================================================================== Note: Sarah Elizabeth Youngblood (1 June 1862 – 10 June 1942) was the daughter of Abraham J. Youngblood and Caroline Frances Skinner. She married William Walter Everett in Union Parish on 25 August 1881. They spent their life in the Pisgah and later the Mt. Union communites. The list of survivors fails to include her son Marshall M. Everett (12 Apr 1895 – 20 Feb 1973). ###########################################################
