ALMA PHILLIPS Farmerville, Feb 28,(Special)-Mrs. Alma Phillips, 77, died Tuesday at St. Francis Hospital, Monroe after a short illness. A short service at the residence of O. H. Phillips of Sterlington will precede the services at the Weldon Alabama Methodist Church near Bernice at 3 p.m. Wednesday. Rev. L. P. Moreland will officiate assisted by Rev. Dan Andres and Rev. Van Burns. Interment will follow in Weldon Cemetary near Bernice under direction of Kilpatrick of Farmerville. Pallbearers will be Frank Roach, Cobin Platt, Hugh Martin, Martin Porter, Van Odom and Van Roach. Survivors include, two sons, Otho H. Phillips of Sterlington, Grady Phillips of Smackover, Arkanas; two daughters, Mrs. P. E. Stewart of Sterlington, and Miss Maude Phillips of Sterlington,; Two brothers, Wilber Harper of Bernice and Charlie Harper of Tallulah: seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Alma Harper Phillips was my grandmother. She loved the Lord, her Family, Weldon Methodist church and the Eastern Star . It is with great love for her I submit this obituary. Ann Phillips Pearson # # #
