All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ************************************************ ================================================================================== ================================================================================== 1961 Obituary of Samuel Post, native of Union Parish Louisiana From the "Morning News", a newspaper published in Dallas, Texas Issue of 17 May 1961 ================================================================================== ================================================================================== Funeral Planned for Samuel Post Funeral services for Samuel Post, 88, of 2607 Jennings, retired president of the Guarantee Abstract & Title Co., will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Marrs-Mundy-Quill Funeral Chapel, 3000 Maple, with the Rev. James L. Cooper and Dr. H. E. Fowler officiating. Burial will be in Laurel Land Memorial Park. Mr. Post died Monday at home after a long illness. He was born in Union Parish, La. and had lived in Dallas since 1918. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Seymour, Baylor County, and was a former member of the Odd Fellows. Survivors are three sons, Judson C. Post, William Bell Post and Thomas W. Post and four daughter, Mrs. Cleta Brown, Mrs. Verna Bloomfield, Mrs. Carmel Jones and Mrs. Dollie Gatton, all of Dallas; a brother M. H.
