(Special) -- Hosea McAdams, 70, of Junction City, Ark., died in a Shreveport hospital Saturday morning after a short illness. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today in Hopewell Baptist Church at Laran with the Revs. J. C. Tipton and A. W. Smart officiating. Burial wil be in Canaan Cemetery under direction fo Pratt Funeral Home of Junction City. Mr. McAdams, a retired farmer, was a veteran of World War I and member of Hopewell Baptist Church. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. May McGarity McAdams; Junction City; four daughters, Mrs. Syble French, Oak Grove, Mrs. Shirley Risor, Ocala, Fla., Mrs. Sylvia Choat, Lake Providence and Mrs. Peggie Williams, Ft. Campbell, Ky.; a son, Alvin McAdams, Los Angeles, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Frank Vickers, Spearsville; two brothers, Feb McAdams, Laran and John McAdams, Dallas, Tex.; and 19 grandchildren. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. ------------------------------------ NOTE: Hosea McAdams was born December 11, 1892 in Junction City, LA, not Junction City, AR. Hosea and May were not living in Junction City, Ark., and died at the VA Hopsital in Shreveport, LA January 5, 1963. He were living in Laran, LA not Junction City, AR. His daughter Peggie Williams is actually Peggie Wilson.
