Mrs Ward was a lifelong resident of Union Parish. Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Latter Day Saints Chapel in Farmerville with Elder Rogers officiating, assited by Elder Love. Burial will be at the Ruggs Bluff Cemetery near Point by Spears Funeral Home at Farmerville. Survivors include her husband, Oscar Ward of Farmerville; three sons Arleigh Ward of Gilmer, Tx., Melvin Ward of Farmerville and Darrell Ward of Ft. Worth,Tx., two daughters, Mrs Geneva Aulds of Farmerville and Mrs Elnora Denton of Gilmer, Tx., a sister, Mrs Venie Ward of Farmerville, 23 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The body will lie in state at Spears Funeral Home until one hour before time for services. ============================================= Note: Henry Oscar Ward married Josie Viola Pardue (25 Dec 1890 – 27 Oct 1964).
