                                       A. M. Read

   Funeral services for A. M. Read, 68, of 6317 Malcolm, a retired salesman for 
Margo's La Mode, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday in Ed C. Smith & Bro. Funeral 
Chapel.  Burial will be in Restland Memorial Park.

   Read, a native of Marion, La., died here Saturday.

   A Dallas resident for 45 years, he was an active member of the Cliff Temple 
Baptist Church where he taught the business-men's Sunday school class.

   Survivors: wife, and four brothers, H. Garland Read and L. A. Read of Dallas, 
John Read of Denver, Colo., and Bryson Read of Odessa.
