Oscar Ward Obit was dated 20 March 1969 Funeral services for Oscar Ward 79, of Farmerville, La. were held Friday, March 7, at Latter-Day Saints Church in Farmerville. Elder Clarence E. Hess officiated. Burial was in Ruggs Bluff Cemetery near Farmerville. Mr. Ward died Wednesday, March 5, at the residence of his daughter, Mrs Geneva Aulds, in Farmerville. He was a life long resident of Union Parish, a retired mill worker, and a member of The Latter-Day Saints Church. Survivors include three sons, Melvin Ward and Darrell Ward, both of Farmerville and Arleigh Ward of Gilmer,Texas; two daughters, Mrs Geneva Aulds of Farmerville and Mrs Elnora Denton of Gilmer,Texas; two brothers, Fred Ward and Pete Ward, both of Farmerville; four sisters, Mrs Delores Aulds of Farmerville, Mrs Clara Tucker of Springhill, Mrs Cornelia Wells and Mrs Eva Dozier, both of Farmerville; 23 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
