Mrs. Leona McAdams Funeral services for Mrs. Leona Brantley McAdams, 80, will be held at 3 p.m. today in the Eastside Baptist Church with Revs M.L. Graham, O.J. Owens, and Jim Edmonds officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home. Mrs. McAdams died early Saturday at her residence on Highway 80 East. She is survived by her husband, W.M. McAdams; two sons, Harvel O. McAdams, Monroe, and Dewey McAdams, of Lafayette; four daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Hogan, Start, Miss Ruby McAdams, Mrs. Gloria D. LaSalle, and Mrs. Jenny Collins, all of Monroe; two brothers, Charlie D. Brantley, and Marlon Brantley, both of Downsville; eight sisters, Mrs. Ezemel Antley, Mrs. J.G. Allen, Mrs. Lottie Stiles, Mrs. Audrey Skains and Mrs. Milred Mann, all of Downsville; Mrs. Shelton Allen of Bastrop, Mrs. Maureen Bridges, Magnolia, Ark., and Mrs. Shirely Crain, West Monroe; her mother Mrs. Emma Brantley, Downsville; 17 grandchildren and one great- grandchild.
